Ben Mor will be your home from home in Jersey.  You can be assured of a warm personalised welcome.  Two double bedrooms with private facilities have access to their own sun-lounge facing the sea with facilities for making tea and coffee.  The bedroom has a flat-screen TV and CD alarm system.  There is also a single room with a view of the sea.  As there are just two bathrooms, we are restricting the accommodation exclusively for two couples.  The single room may be occupied by one adult or two children accompanying the occupants of the double rooms. The house is non-smoking.

Breakfast can be served in the conservatory or on the patio terrace overlooking the sea if the weather is kind.  Guests will be given a choice of menu made from fresh local produce.  Start the day with a delicious breakfast comprising a choice of fresh fruit salads and juices, compotes and home made yoghurt and cereals. Additionally you may opt for the traditional cooked breakfast followed by toast, croissants and a range of home made preserves.  Freshly brewed coffee and a selection of teas will be served.  Light suppers can also be served by arrangement.

Visitors Comments:

Special highlight is to look out on to the beach and the sea.  This is a very special venue for a busy person in need of a pause.  A B

This is a lovely setting.  It is wonderful to wake in the morning to spectacular views in Ann’s lovely home.  The accommodation and cooked breakfast are first class and all down to the detail. Ann and Helier were perfect hosts with lots of advice on where to go.  Devil’s Hole is spectacular but not for the faint hearted!  We watched the sun set over La Corbière.  Forget the rest, just go for the best!  Ben Mor is the Ritz of Jersey!  R & A

The island is so beautiful.  Agapanthus and hydrangeas abound and every village seemed to have hanging baskets of flowers.  We went everywhere!  The Island Explorer Bus Routes proved excellent.  We met the ‘Goodwyf’ at Hamptonne, orchid growers at the Eric Young Foundation, meerkats and gorillas at Durrell, prehistoric man at the Museum and mediaeval knights at Mont Orgueil.  J & K L

Loved the guest room and am going to try to recreate it back home!  The brown sauce at breakfast is divine!  Hire car was a good idea for getting to hard-to-reach beaches.  We sunbathed, ate lots, went rock climbing, snorkled, visited castles (Elizabeth Castle has lots of big guns!) and got lost on the roads where the road signs were not always awfully helpful.  Jersey ice cream is to die for!  Thank you Ann and Helier for a lovely stay – we will be recommending you to our friends.  R & C
